Zagorodny Prospekt is an avenue of St Petersburg which goes through the historic border of the city - from the intersection with Moskovsky Prospekt through Five Corners Square to Vladimirskaya Square and Vladimirsky Prospekt.

Zagorodny (Russian: "Загородный" consisted of two Russian words "za" - "behind" and "gorod" - "town, city"). So "Zagorodny Prospekt" is literally means "BehindTheCity Avenue".

Five Corners is a unique square of 5 street corners - Zagorodny Prospekt (which creates two corners), Rubinstein St., Lomonosov St. and Razyezzhaya St., with Merchant Ioffe House with the Tower as it's dominant. 

Vladimirsky Prospekt is an avenue from Vladimirskaya Square to the intersection with Nevsky Prospekt. It is named after Our Lady of Vladimir Church (or literally "Vladimirskaya Icon of The Mother of God Cathedral") founded in 1769.
