The main street of Vasilievsky Island appeared at the beginning of the 18th century, when this island was still called Preobrazhensky. Bolshoy Prospekt (or Avenue) on Vasilievsky Island of Saint Petersburg is one of its most important highways. It runs from the First Line to Nalichnaya Street and Sea Glory Square.
In this virtual walking tour we’ll follow the whole Bolshoy Prospekt street, in the reverse order — from the Nalichnaya Street to the First Line (Cadet Line). Hope you’ll enjoy this city tour of Saint Petersburg!
