Here is the wrap-up video along with part 8, plus the bonus part 9 with all the nitty gritty on the paper work and the way I take copious notes while doing a project like this. This helps me the next time I do a job like this, as I can reference back to these notes in the future. I do this for all my jobs....yes I'm VERY detailed. I really enjoyed working on this watercraft, it had its challenges since most of the original parts were either not there or so heavily damaged we couldn't really make heads or tails of how everything was designed. My clients deceased brother loved this Old Necky Dolphin kayak ( it's really designed to be a river racer craft ) and all of this hard work is actually is in tribute to my clients brother. His daughter is living in Germany, who fondly remembers this kayak well, while she was growing up. I believe she is college age now. So this finished project is being presented as a gift to my client, to his niece, in memory of her father. Things like this make working a lot more meaningful for me personally. I had 45 hours of Hands-On work restoring this kayak and another 10 hours doing research and ordering parts. It was a very enjoyable project, done in small increments of time, not rushed, over 2.5 months and I think that it came out amazing. I will say that my client also put in some serious hours of Hands-On work, where we had to engineer and do special cuttings and drillings at his BEAUTIFUL home workshop area, which really saved the day on a number of occasions.
Thanks to all of you for being part of this channel. I really would appreciate a subscription/notification bell hit/share to your friends that have old kayaks/like/and of course please make your comments as this helps my Google analytics and helps this channel grow.

Special thanks goes out to Tom, owner of TOPKAYACKER he's a very busy man right now, but he definitely made time for me on several occasions helping me guide through the website topkayaker.org or topkayaker.net. he is very knowledgeable in his business and once you start learning how to navigate the website system it actually becomes quite easy to find the parts that you need and order them as they are very reasonably priced, shipped well and come to you quite quickly for very little shipping costs.

Thanks, JJ
