We had 2 wonderful days to spend in St Petersburg, Russia. Indeed a spectacular journey!!

Day1 -
City center highlights of the PALACE SQUARE & ST ISAAC’s Cathedral

Guided tour at THE HERMITAGE WINTER PALACE viewed so many collections of the Treasure.Galleries of masterpieces owned by Russian Imperial family.

Explored the magnificent GRAND PALACE a summer residence of the Russian Czars -THE PETERHOF MUSEUM & RESERVE. A must visit place with lots of history and amazing water fountains & gardens ~ Russian Versailles

then strolled through the streets of VASIELIEVSKY ST PETERSBURG

quick stop for souvenirs shopping for some MATRYOSHKA DOLLS - the world’s first nesting dolls, a representation of the mother carrying on the family legacy.

Day 2
visited the CATHERINE PALACE thats had lots of historical museum. And of course, The Amber room is a must to see & make sure to get an Amber souvenir. I sure did????

CHURCH OF THE SAVIOR OF SPILLED BLOOD is a former Russian Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg. With stunning architecture inside & out. What an amazing icon!

Ended our day to experience a high speed hydrofoil boat ride. That was super cool.

A definite yayyy for John’s pet peeves...had the entire bus opt a buffet restaurant for the good ol” Ronald McDonald’s. Big MacCombo was a hit!!!
